Ricky Martin graces the cover of Ocean Drive Magazine – 7News – WSVN

The October issue of Ocean Drive Magazine is usually Lynn’s favorite issue of the year because they always show hot guys with big biceps. Deco caught up with this year’s cover boy, who is none other than the man who got us all to shake our bon-bons — Ricky Martin.

Ricky Martin is no stranger to Miami.

Ricky Martin: “When I hear Miami, I go back home.”

And let’s just say gracing the cover of Ocean Drive Magazine is not exactly new for him.

Ricky Martin: “It’s not my first time though, and I’m really happy that they called me again.”

Ricky’s favorite look is the cover, but how does his sound to get us livin’ la vida loca?

Ricky Martin: “I felt like a pimp, and I acted out the pimp, and it felt good.”

There was nothing but love for Ricky on the red carpet at the W Hotel on South Beach as the mag

I Bought Poets And Writers Magazine And All I Found Was This Lousy Resistance

I’m a sucker for cheap magazine introductory offers. Don’t ask why. Some dimensions of our inner lives ought to remain unexplored. But it is how I wound up with a subscription to Poets Writers.

You know, the magazine cover that vacillates between close-ups of writers affecting vulnerable yet distracted looks, and an eye-singeing red announcing “WINNING CONTESTS: MORE THAN 100 TO ENTER NOW.” Maybe you’ve seen it in a bookstore. Maybe you avoided it.

Anyhow, like most of my ideas, it sounded good at the time. I assure you I was not drunk when I returned the little postcard for a one-year subscription at $9.95. Even at 80 percent advertising it seemed a bargain. That’s an exaggeration. At best, it wasn’t a mistake.

Or so I thought. The May/June issue arrived with the usual lineup of writing prompts, advice, and author interviews. Like something out of Marvel Comics’ uber-unsuccessful DiversityVerse, the headliners

How a PEOPLE Magazine Story on Yeardley Love’s Murder Changed a Woman’s Life

A 2010 PEOPLE cover story on the murder of 22-year-old Yeardley Love changed the life of a California woman for the better, she reveals ahead of the anniversary of Love’s death.

“After reading that article, I realized, ‘That could happen to me,’ ” Annie King, 31, tells PEOPLE.

Love was beaten to death by ex-boyfriend George Huguely V, a fellow lacrosse player at the University of Virginia, in an alcohol-fueled rage on May 3, 2010.

Huguely was convicted in 2012 of second-degree murder and is serving a 23-year prison sentence for Love’s death, which he claimed was an accident.

While King says her own relationship never escalated to that level of deadly anger, PEOPLE’s coverage of Love’s case resonated deeply with her — and scared her — because her boyfriend of about

ID Orders Joe Berlinger Docuseries, Maria Elena Salinas News Magazine Show

ID has ordered docuseries “Killing Richard Glossip” from Joe Berlinger (“Paradise Lost”), the Discovery-owned cable channel said on Saturday. Investigation Discovery has also hired investigative journalist Maria Elena Salinas for a new news magazine show, “The Real Story.”

Both announcements were made this afternoon during the network’s Television Critics Association press event.

“Killing Richard Glossip” dives into the 1997 Oklahoma City murder of Barry Van Treese. Glossip, a man with no prior felony convictions, has consistently maintained his innocence, insisting that he had no knowledge that anyone planned to kill Van Treese. He’s now towards the end of his death row stay. Justin Sneed, who admitted to killing the victim and whose fingerprints were found in the room, cut a deal for a life sentence instead of risking the death penalty by telling the police that Glossip hired him to do it.
