BWW Interview: Gillian Pensavalle and Patrick Hinds, hosts of TRUE CRIME OBSESSED Podcast

BWW Interview: Gillian Pensavalle and Patrick Hinds, hosts of TRUE CRIME OBSESSED Podcast

When I was 12 years old, the Homecoming Queen in our small town in Pennsylvania was killed in a drunk driving accident. A few months later, her older brother shot the driver of the car that killed her point blank in the head four times. But did he really do it? Was he covering for his brother? Or his father? Now, 30 years later, this story still haunts our small town and is a topic that is still discussed at holiday dinners and when driving by the murder site. The brother was convicted of third degree murder and sentenced to 20 years, of which, he only served 10 for good behavior.

Thus began a lifelong obsession with True Crime. What exactly did happen that night? Was a grieving brother driven to

Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi hosts true crime docuseries on ID

The six-part series, dubbed True Conviction, will be presented through Nicolazzi’s own unique lens as a seasoned prosecutor (who held a 35-0 success record in the Homicide Bureau before leaving earlier this year) as she travels the country to interview attorneys about the most difficult homicide cases they ever faced in pursuit of a conviction.

Each episode follows Nicolazzi as she visits the scene of the crime, examines the case through the eyes of the prosecutor, and meets with key figures at the centre of the case including the loved ones and investigators. Along the way, Nicolazzi shares her personal reflections and insight into the case, connects elements of the story to her own experiences as a prosecutor, and reveals how the complex layers of each murder investigation came together in the courtroom.

“Anna-Sigga’s undefeated record in the courtroom makes her extraordinarily qualified to take ID viewers on an exclusive journey behind
