These three events leapt off the screen and into headlines in the last year as video-game crimes made manifest.

Grand Theft Auto – Grand Theft Tank

What do you do when you really, really need a bottle of booze? According to LAD Bible, one Russian found the answer in a nearby military training ground. While it was no Rhino tank, the vehicle he commandeered for a drive to, and nearly through, the nearest supermarket was the closest thing at hand: a 12-ton Russian military armored transport.

The fully amphibious armored personnel carrier proved more than a match

The most famous unsolved crimes in history — and who historians think did it

JonBenét Ramsey, a 6-year-old pageant contestant from Colorado, was found dead in her home the day after Christmas in 1996. Her parents apparently found her in the basement of their home, strangled and hit in the back of the head. The most popular theory is that JonBenét’s mother, father, or brother were responsible for her death.

Her mother, Patsy Ramsey, reportedly found a ransom note in their home which police believe was written by a woman thus leading to speculation that Patsy was involved. As for JonBenet’s father, John, he moved his daughter’s body from the basement and covered her with a blanket. In 2008, however, both parents were cleared of any wrongdoing thanks to DNA evidence, Rolling Stone reported.

Burke Ramsey, JonBenet’s brother, was another suspect at just 9-years-old. Some people theorize that he threw a flashlight at

Nancy Glass is Bringing A New Perspective to the Most Notorious and Publicized Crimes in Recent Years

Oxygen has rebranded itself as a the crime destination network, and with a new show The Jury Speaks, they’re looking at famous and iconic crime cases from a different lens. Going beyond a classic re-telling of cases like that of O.J. Simpson, Robert Durst, George Zimmerman and Michael Jackson, the show looks specifically at the jury of these cases to illustrate what went into their judgement.

At an event for the show, I spoke to multiple-Emmy award-winning executive producer Nancy Glass about what she hopes The Jury Speaks will bring to our understanding of these cases and the justice system as a whole. Glass wanted to give a platform to jurors who she felt were often themselves misjudged or misunderstood in these high profile cases.

Many of these stories are ones we feel like we already know, whether it’s because of the overwhelming amount of press we

True Crimes: The Unbelievable Story Of A Killer Who Revealed All In His Novel

Does inspiration come from experience or imagination? That’s the question posed in Wim Wenders’ chilling 2015 tale Every Thing Will Be Fine, starring James Franco and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

The French-British actress is back with a new thriller that takes on the world of literature. She plays alongside Jim Carrey in True Crimes, a film that retraces the investigation of a detail-obsessed Polish detective who is passionate about solving complex puzzles that no one else seems to care about.

6 ‘Law and Order: Special Victims Unit’ Episodes Based On True Crimes

Many episodes on the fictional crime show Law and Order: Special Victims Unit are ripped from the headlines of real-life crimes. Here are a few of them.

1. Baby Killer (Season 2, Episode 5)

A young girl is fatally shot by her 7-year-old classmate in Baby Killer. The SVU team investigates the shooting which is based on the 2000 school shooting at Buell Elementary School in Michigan in which Kayla Rolland was shot to death by her 6-year-old classmate Dedrick Darnell Owens.

In the show, Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot says, “You know as well as I do that the youngest they’ve ever convicted was eleven.”

Another ADA on the show, Pippa Fox, responds, “Yes, but that was pre-Columbine. Since then, there’s been an epidemic of ever-younger kids killing kids with no consequence. People are fed up with it.”

2. Chameleon (Season 4, Episode 1)

Detectives Benson and Stabler investigate the deaths of men killed by a female
