FX Networks has ordered A Teacher, a limited series based on Hannah Fidell’s feature film of the same name and starring Kate Mara and Nick Robinson, it was announced today by Gina Balian and Nick Grad, Presidents, Original Programming, FX Entertainment. The 10-episode limited series is being produced by FX Productions.

B.J. Novak’s Platform Anthology Series Gets Pilot Order at FX

FX Networks has given the green light to a half-hour anthology series pilot. Platform is written, directed and executive produced by B.J. Novak (The Office). The series aims to “use the boldest issues of our times as a jumping off point to tell singular, character-driven stories about the world we live in today.”

The pilot will feature a star-studded cast including: Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Lucas Hedges (Ben Is Back), Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, Logan), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Long Shot, Straight Outta Compton), George Wallace and Ed Asner. Other deals are still being finalized for additional cast members.

B.J. Novak is best known for appearing in the US version of The Office as the temp turned corporate, Ryan Howard. In reality, he was a strong voice on that and other projects. Novak served as executive producer on the phenomenally successful The Office from 2008

Jimmy Hoffa 44 Years Later: ‘The Irishman’ Has The Story All Wrong

(WWJ) One of America’s most iconic mysteries, and one embedded into the fabric of metro Detroit, goes like this: Who killed Jimmy Hoffa and where’s his final resting place?

At the peak of his power as head of the Teamsters union, Hoffa flew into the wind, gone never to be heard from again. The 62-year-old emerged from the Red Fox restaurant in Bloomfield Hills between 2:30 and 3 p.m. on July 30, 1975.

Everything that happened to him after that is conjecture.

And yet still we search.

Series nine of AHS 1984 will premiere in the UK on September 19, 2019 on Fox. What else do you need to know? Well, Ryan is a busy man and is developing another show with Netflix and US network FX.
